Because of the dictatorship, this is how the association of artists will slowly become obsolete. Yesterday (January 14) was the annual banquet of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association. A meeting of artists was held at the Heritage Resort in Madhavadhi, Narsingdi, near the capital. However, part of the Executive Council of the Artists’ Association was not seen at this year’s banquet. In this list were – Manwar Hossain Dipzal, Masum Parvez Rubel, Aliraj, Sucharita, Aruna Biswas, Moushumi, Joy Chowdhury selected from the Misha-Zayed panel. Also, Amit Haasan, who won the Kanchan-Nipun panel, also did not attend the banquet.

Ilyas Kanchan, Nipun, Riaz, Ferdous, Simon Sadiq, Shahnoor, Mamunan Imon, Kaya, Armaan, Azad Khan, Jasmine attended the banquet. Apart from this, star couple Anant Jalil-Varsha also attended the banquet as in the past. Apart from this, Sohail Rana, Alamgir, Ujjal, Shabnam, Babita, Champa, Naeem-Shabnaz, Omar Sani, Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas, Mahi, Parimani, Bipasha Kabir, Anchal, Sweet Jannat and many more have not been seen at this banquet.

After entering the picnic area, several black and white images are seen. The current committee of the Film Artists Association remembered the stars lost in these films. This arrangement of the current committee in memory of deceased star artists caught everyone’s attention.
