Now, Nayanthara, a popular actress in the Tamil film industry has joined this list. Recently, the actress said that she, too, must have fallen victim to the casting couch.

This popular southern actress opened up about it in an interview with Indian media. Nayantara said she had once been offered a major role in a film in exchange for being a bedmate. He “boldly” rejected the proposal. Because she believed in herself, her acting talent would later establish her as one of the leading actresses.

Nayantara is not the first to talk about the casting couch in the southern film industry. Earlier, some other southern actresses highlighted this dark side. For example, popular actress Anushka Shetty talked about the casting couch in 2020.

Nayantara married director Bignesh Shivan in June 2022. The actress became a mother of twins through surrogacy after 4 months of marriage.

Nayantara is currently busy filming the movie “Jawaan”. Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan and popular southern actor Vijay Sethupathi are in this movie.
