Bangladeshi actors and actresses now have more opportunities in Kolkata cinema. Jaya Ahsan, Nusrat Faria have become regular performers there. Currently, actress Nusrat Faria has started filming for the movie “Bivah Abhiyan 2” in Kolkata. The film is produced by SVF. Directed by Soumik Halder. He acted in ‘Bivah Abhiyan’ released in 2019. A movie is being made in Kolkata based on the story written by Siam. Prasenjit Chatterjee, Pooja, Ayushi Talukdar are with Siyam in this movie. The film will be directed by Raja Chand. Produced by Shyamsunder Dey. Shooting for this film will begin in January next year. Small screen actress Tasnia Farine will make her cinema debut in Kolkata next month. Directed by Atanu Ghosh, the film “Aro Ek Prithivi” will be released on December 2. Actress Bobby recently signed two films in co-production. Both films will be directed by Kolkata-based filmmaker MN Raj. Actor Ankush will be alongside Bobby in a movie. Apart from this, Jaya stars Ahsan OCD, Ardhangini, Bhootpari, Kalantar and Puthul Naach are also awaiting release in Kolkata. Not only the movies, but the number of Bangladeshi artists working in West Bengal is also increasing on the OTT platform. The appreciation of Dhaka artists has increased in West Bengal.
