Bangladeshi films for the 95th Oscars

Bangladeshi films have been invited to participate in the 95th edition of the most prestigious film awards in the world, the Oscars and the Oscars.

The committee of the 95th Academy Awards Bangladesh has invited Bangladeshi films made in the Bengali language to nominate Bangladeshi films in the Best International Feature Film (Foreign Language Competition) category of the Oscars.

According to a notification, any feature film with English subtitles released after January 1, 2022 and before November 30 in theaters in Bangladesh for 7 (seven) consecutive days can participate in the selection process.

Film producers interested in participating in this selection process are invited to collect the film submission form and detailed rules from Ashirwad Films (7/9 Eastern Commercial Complex, 73 Kakaril) and submit it by September 15. (Thursday) at 5 p.m.

Like every year, an 8-member committee was formed at the initiative of the Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies to nominate Bangladeshi films in the Oscar’s Best International Feature Film (Foreign Language Competition) category, with the personality of the cinema Habibur Rahman Khan as president.

The 95th Academy Awards will take place on March 12, 2023, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The prize will be awarded to 24 branches of the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California. Best International Feature Film is one of them.
