‘Black War’ will open the closed doors of traditional Madhumita

Madhumita, one of the oldest and traditional theaters in Dhaka, was closed a few months ago due to the World Cup in Qatar and the quality cinema crisis. It was debated whether the leisure center would reopen or not. However, next week, Madhumita is once again opening the doors to theaters with Shubo-Aishi starring “Black War.”

Iftekhar Uddin Naushad, owner of Madhumita Cinema Hall, confirmed the fact: “Audiences were pretty crazy around the soccer world cup. Newly released movies weren’t going well either. I had to close the theatre. I want to open the new year with a good movie. I think ‘Black War’ is one of those movies. Audiences can come back with it.

Modernization of the theater was also carried out during the two months of closure. As a result, viewers can now enjoy movies in a new environment at Madhumita, Iftekhar Uddin Naushad said.

Madhumita Cinema Hall is one of the oldest and traditional theaters in Dhaka. It was established in 1967 in Motijheel, the commercial heart of Dhaka. Currently, films are projected there through an exhibition hall. Up to 1,200 people can enjoy the movie together. The Madhumita cinema was announced closed on November 18 by the authorities.

“Black War” hits the big screen on January 13. Directed by Sani Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed, the film is a sequel to the film “Mission Extreme”. The film, produced under the Cop Creations banner, was due to be released on Eid-ul-Fitr last year. However, considering the general situation, the film’s production company is delaying the release date.

Similar to the movie “Mission Extreme”, the sequel “Black War” will also see Arifin Shuvo in the lead role. Besides Arifin Shubo, the movie “Black War” co-produced by Cool Nivedit, Mime Multimedia and produced in association with Dhaka Detective Club also stars Taskin Rahman, Jannatul Ferdous Oishi, Sadia Nabila, Sumit Sengupta, Misha Saudagar, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Manoj Pramanik, Shatabdi, Wadud, Shahiduzzaman Salim, Hasan Imam, Laila Imam, Eresh Zaker, Majnun Mizan, Sudeep Biswas, Syed Aref, Khalidur Rahman Rumi, Imran Shawdagar, Khashroo Parvez and others.

Note that “Mission Extreme” was released on December 3, 2021. In addition to Bangladesh, the film was released simultaneously in 11 countries around the world.
