Apart from Babita, he also played Indians Shashi Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, Raj Babar, Parveen Bobby, David Abraham and Nadeem Baig in prominent roles.

Chabana: He entered Bollywood thanks to the movie ‘Shatru’. The film was released in 1986. This film is a joint India-Bangladesh production directed by Pramod Chakraborty. Shabana acted there opposite Rajesh Khanna. Ghulam Mustafa and Syed Hasan Imam were also spotted. Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosal and Andrew Kishore sang the song with music conducted by RD Burman. It was a remake of Ranjit Mallick’s star “Shatru” released in 1984.
