Hero Lectro H3 and H5: Hero Lectro, the electric arm of Hero Cycles, has launched two new electric bikes in the Indian market. The two models of the Hero Lectro e-bike are the H3, priced at Rs 27,449 and the H5, priced at Rs 28,449. Two new models have been launched to further increase the popularity of Hero e-bikes in the urban areas of the country . Hero Lectro has added several new features to its two new electric bikes, to appeal to the new generation.

The Hero Lectro H3 and H5 electric scooters are for those who are buying an electric bike for the first time. The electric bike can offer a range of 30 km on a single charge in assisted pedaling and 25 km in accelerator mode only. An IP67 Li-ion 5.8Ah tube battery is supplied which is IP67 rated to be waterproof. Both e-bikes can be fully charged in just four hours.

A 250W BLDC rear hub motor is provided, which can provide a smooth driving experience. Both bikes have smart LED displays on their handlebars. Both models also feature a dual-disc brake setup, a first for an e-bike in the industry. The carbon steel frame and the dust protection guarantee are two other important features of these two electric bikes.

Traveling long distances within urban boundaries is not very common in metropolitan cities of India.
