‘Drishyam’ is a popular Malayalam film series. The first part of this series directed by Jitu Joseph was released in 2013. The second part was released in 2021. Mohanlal played the lead role in both of these parts.

In 2015, Bollywood director Nishikant Kamar remade ‘Drishyam’ in Hindi language. The Hindi remake stars Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Shreya Saran, Akshay Khanna. Budgeted at Rs 38 crore, the film earned Rs 110 crore at the box office.

The second part of this series ‘Drishyam-2’ has been redone by director Abhishek Pathak. The cast remains unchanged.
