I do not accept this result: Hero Alam

Popular candidate Hero Alam called a press conference after the defeat in Bogra 4 and 6 by-elections. He posted a message on his verified Facebook page around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday February 1.

He wrote in the post – “I will be holding a press conference at 10:30 p.m. today at my home.” I was aggrieved, I do not accept this result”.

Md. Bogra-4 sits in the election. Ashraful Hossain Alam aka Hero Alam 19 thousand 571 votes. Its closest candidate, AKM Rezaul Karim Tansen, won with 20,405 votes. Hero Alam obtained 5 thousand 274 votes at the headquarters of Bogra-6. Ragebul Hasan Bipu won the seat by obtaining 49 thousand 336 votes.

Earlier in the 2018 elections, Hero Alam won 638 votes in the seat of Bogra-4. In this election, Hero Alam contested the constituency of Bogra-4 with the lion symbol. Still accused of rigging, expelling agents. BNP participated in the elections in 2018. BNP candidate Mosharof Hossain was elected by obtaining 1 lakh 26 thousand 722 votes. His closest rival, Grand Alliance candidate AKM Rezaul Karim Tansen (JSAD INU) received 84,679 votes.
