In ‘Pushpa 2’ opposite Allu Arjun as the villainous Jesus of Calcutta
He was offered to play in “Pushpa: The Rise”. However, due to the covid situation at that time, Calcutta hero Yeshu Sengupta was not cast in this Southern blockbuster movie. The desire to act with Allu Arjun also went unfulfilled.
In an interview, Jesus himself said that he was offered the villain role in “Pushpa: The Rise.” The character played by Fahadh Faasil was actually supposed to be made by him. But now, we hear that Jesus will act in ‘Pushpa 2’ that is to say ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.
According to strong rumors, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ will play the role of the villain in Yeshu Sengupta! The role was offered to popular southern actor Vijay Sethupathi. But Vijay rejected this offer. Because he will be busy shooting his own film from November.
Sukumar is the writer and director of Vijay’s film. While Vijay Sethupathi turned down the offer of ‘Pushpa: The Ruler’, we hear that Jesus could play the character. However, neither the filmmakers nor Jesus himself said anything about it.
Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandana, Fahadh Faasil are also present in ‘Pushpa 2’, maintaining the continuity of the first. Sukumar is the director and screenwriter of this film. This director’s “Pushpa 1” is a blockbuster in 2021. The film has been dubbed into Hindi as well as various southern languages.
Only the Hindi dubbed film made 100 crores. After the success of ‘Pushpa 1’, fans are also waiting for the release of ‘Pushpa 2’. The film is expected to be released in December this year. Film pundits think ‘Pushpa 2’ could outperform Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ and ‘Tiger-3’.
