He then did not resume his studies and concentrated on music. He made his first performance at the opening of a car dealership business, when he was only 14 years old. He was one of the first artists to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. Among his three biggest hits, “Great Balls of Fire” reached number 2 on the US charts and became an iconic song of the era of rock and roll. Lewis has recorded 40 studio albums, the most recent being 2014’s ‘Rock and Roll Time’. His previous album ‘Mean Old Man’ reached the US Top 30 when it was released in 2010. The star sang a duet with Mick Jagger , Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson and co.
