Kawasaki updated two old bikes
After Japanese bike manufacturers Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha, Kawasaki is now at the height of its popularity. Its novelties quench the thirst of cycling enthusiasts. Currently, two of the company’s most popular bikes are Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Z650. Now the company has updated them.
Several changes were made to both bikes. The biggest update to the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Z650 is a two-level traction control (KTRC) system. The first layer will protect the tire on any road. The second layer will protect against slipping in the rain or on wet roads.
Both bikes are equipped with LED headlights, turn signals and taillights. A TFT instrument console is also provided. Also, in the updated version, you can connect both bikes to the smartphone via Bluetooth.
But the biggest visual update for both bikes is the new color scheme. The Kawasaki Ninja 650 will also be available in two new colors. One is metallic matte graphene steel gray and lime green. Which looks a lot like the recently updated Ninja 400, another motorcycle from Kawasaki.
The Kawasaki Ninja Z650 will be available in three new colors. Sparkle Black Metallic, Phantom Silver Metallic and Matte Graphene Gunmetal Metallic. Market analysts believe that this will attract more customers.
However, both bikes feature a liquid-cooled 649cc parallel-twin engine. One of them produces 67 hp and another 64 Nm of torque with a 6-speed gearbox. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer also retained suspension and braking components from the older model. These include telescopic front forks, a mono-shock in the rear, dual discs up front and a single disc in the rear with dual-channel ABS.
However, the early models are still available in the Indian market. However, this update has been introduced in the European market for the time being. The current price of earlier models of Kawasaki Ninja in India is Rs 650-695,000 which in Bangladeshi currency is Rs 8 lakh 27,000. On the other hand, the price of Kawasaki Ninja Z650 is Rs 6 lakh 43. In Bangladeshi currency, it is 7 lakh 65 thousand taka.
