Khan Ataur Rahman
Bangladeshi film actor, lyricist, composer, music director, singer, filmmaker, screenwriter, storyteller and producer. He was born on December 11, 1928 in Ramkantpur village of Singair upazila of Manikganj district. His first film was Jago Hua Savera. Directed by filmmaker Ehtesham, E Desh Tomar Amar is his first Bengali film. He became known for films based on the life of Nawab Sirajuddaullah. It won five National Film Awards for Best Music Director, Best Lyricist and Best Screenplay. Died December 1, 1997.

Taraman Bibi
He was born in Shankar Madhavpur village of Char Rajibpur upazila of Kurigram district in 1957. During the liberation war, Taraman BB was in his village Shankar Madhavpur of Kurigram district in Sector No.11. In 1973, the government of Bangladesh awarded him the title of Vir Prateek for his bravery in the war of independence. He died on 1 December 2018. He was buried at Kacharipara Taltala Cemetery of Rajibpur upazila with state dignity.
