Legal notice to Bangladeshi-owned Time TV of New York

Famed authority Time magazine has issued a legal notice to remove all online advertisements, including the logo of Bangladesh-owned Time Television in New York. Time magazine reportedly served a legal notice on Time Television claiming that the Time word and logo are their property. Dana Rosen, Time magazine’s legal director, sent Time Television authorities a legal notice on October 20.

Time magazine is calling on authorities at Time Television to immediately remove all internet and online advertisements. Also stops all time-related activities. The notice stated that Time magazine is a 98-year-old historic institution. It has more than one hundred million readers and listeners worldwide. Additionally, their logo is registered under US trademark law.

At first, Time magazine’s legal director addressed Time authorities saying, “As I think you are well aware, Time is a leading global news brand. It is involved in groundbreaking journalism through its iconic print magazines and digital channels.

Abu Taher, CEO of New York-based Time Television, said in his speech that Time Magazine and Time Television are two completely different media. Their TV logo colors are all different and completely different from Time magazine. Red, white and blue logo of Time Television. He said that even he himself did not understand the question.
