Mamtaz travels to Saudi Arabia to listen to songs – Dainik Amader Shomoy

In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on October 7, Empress Mumtaz Begum will perform tunes from folk songs. He will travel to Jeddah to attend the Bangladeshi musical show “Prabasider Anand Utsav”.

This musical spectacle will be held under the supervision of Bangladeshi businessmen licensed by the Saudi government and organized by the event management company.

This information was announced during a press conference at the Baghdadiya Karam hotel in Jeddah last Wednesday. Sartajul Alam Dipu, a member of the organizing committee, read the written statement during the press conference.

He said that after receiving approval from the Saudi Ministry of Culture, the biggest music show will be held in Jeddah for the first time under the supervision of the event management company to entertain expatriate Bangladeshis. Besides musical empress Mumtaz, popular comedian and presenter Kajal from the 90s, singer Jhelik, singer Babli Sarkar, singer Prama Sheikh, Raisa Rose are present. There will also be a laser show and dance music by local artists.

Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan and Maruwa Uaziullah jointly hosted the press conference which was attended by Chairman of Haifa Event Management Company Mahmud Naji, Organizing Committee Habibur Rahman Bepari, Kamrul Hasan Jewel, Mosharraf Hossain Khan, Mohammad Millat and Azizur Rahman Milon.

Empress Mumtaz is very happy to have the opportunity to come to Saudi Arabia. Confirming the news of her coming to Saudi Arabia in a video message, Mumtaz said, “I have been to Saudi Arabia before for Umrah. This is the first time I have been invited to such a big musical event. I have amazing fans in Arabia, I’m very excited for this tour.

The chairman of the event management company, Haifa Mahmoud Naji, said the event was held under special security measures at Al-Forsia in the Asfan district of Jeddah. There are stalls of various companies, including Bangladeshi, at the Bangladesh Musical Show. Other than that, there is a raffle at the event.
