Not only the new generation, but also middle-aged or elderly people are turning to online shopping. This information was highlighted in a recent survey. Clothing, shoes and accessories are the top-selling items online, followed by groceries. Aam Janata also offers online payment options for investments or insurance. Recently, an international company providing payment-related services to banks and other businesses conducted a survey of Indians. According to the survey results, about 78% of people shop through social media apps. They mainly buy clothes and shoes. 70% of respondents say they do their shopping online. The survey statistics clearly show that people still rely on app-based purchases to make small transactions. Many people are still skeptical about big online transactions.

When shopping online, 63% of consumers say online shopping is less complicated and therefore more convenient. 72% of people are interested in shopping online because of discounts or financial advantages. According to 63% of shoppers, they buy through apps because they get cashback, rewards points, and more. 76% say they make UPI payments to pay for their purchases. According to the survey, 86% of the new generation trust UPI payments.
