PMV Electric’s first electric vehicle will arrive on November 16, likely to be priced below ₹4 lakh

PMV electric car: Mumbai-based electric vehicle manufacturer PMV Electric is set to launch its first electric car in the country. The company will unveil EaS-E on November 16. PMV Electric aims to position the future electric vehicle as an everyday vehicle for city dwellers. It is an affordable electric vehicle, which would be offered in three different models.

According to the EV manufacturer, the prototype of the electric vehicle is ready. At the vehicle’s unveiling, Kalpit Patel, Founder of PMV Electric, said, “We are delighted to officially unveil the product. This will be an important step for the company. Because we have developed a world-class product made by an Indian company. We look forward to introducing a new segment of electric and personal mobility vehicles (PMVs) to the country, designed for everyday use.

The PMV will be able to provide EaS-E with a delivery range of up to 200 km, the company said. It is likely to carry a 10 Kwh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, capable of generating a maximum power of 20hp. The electric vehicle is also believed to have a compact “smart car” design. It can be fitted with a clamshell hood, square grille with full-width LED DRL, circular LED headlight and sloping windshield.

The next EV could feature larger windows and flared wheel arches. The car will have a full-width rear taillight. Interior-wise, the PMV EaS-E will be a two-seat micro EV with a minimalist dashboard and fabric upholstery. It is said to be a remote keyless entry vehicle with cruise control, power windows and manual climate control.

This electric vehicle can be equipped with a multifunction steering wheel. The vehicle may have an LCD instrument panel and an infotainment panel with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. In terms of price, the PMV EaS-E micro SUV is expected to cost around ₹4 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company has yet to officially announce anything about the price of the car. Details on exact pricing and availability will be revealed on November 16.
