Ranveer-Alia returned from the temple in the face of protests
Brahmastra, star of Ranveer and Alia, is buzzing in City B. In the meantime, an “incident” has occurred.
Bollywood superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have faced protests in Madhya Pradesh. They were not allowed to enter the Shiva temple in Ujjain.
Ranveer and Alia Bhatt’s star “Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva” is out tomorrow. Earlier Tuesday, Ranveer and Alia went to the Shiva temple in Ujjain to ask for blessings. Director Ayan Mukhopadhyay was with him. As soon as they reached the temple, they faced protests.
They were met by temple authorities after arriving outside the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on Tuesday after leaving Mumbai. But protesters who had already gathered prevented him from entering the temple. The protest was sparked by a comment Ranveer made about beef 11 years ago.
According to research, in an interview while promoting “Rockstar” in 2011, Ranveer said, “My family is from Peshawar.” As a result, I am familiar with Poshayari food. I love mutton, paya and beef. I am a big beef lover.
Prior to the release of Brahmastra, Ranveer’s comment went viral again on social media. This has already started to raise the voice of the boycott of the film.
Before Ranveer-Alia arrived at the Mahakaleshwar temple, the local leader of Bajrang Dal, Ankit Jindal warned that we would not allow Ranveer-Alia to enter the temple.
Ujjain police officer Omprakash Mishra told Indian news agency ANI that security for VIPs had already been organized at the Mahakaleshwar temple as Ranveer and Alia arrived. As soon as they reached the temple, several people gathered there and began to protest. Protesters clashed with police. However, the situation was managed.
In the end, Ranveer did not enter the temple. Aaliya did not come in. Only Ayan entered the temple and offered the puja. He also shared this photo on Instagram.
