Saif’s beard will be “edited” in Adipurush?
Bollywood movie ‘Adipurush’ based on the story of epic Ramayana has faced a new problem, this time the reason for the problem is actor Saif Ali Khan’s beard as ‘Raavan’ .
The Times of India reported that the makers are now planning to remove Saif’s beard from the film in the face of criticism. And this will be done via VFX (visual effects).
The reviews started immediately after the Adipurush teaser was released a month ago. Director Om Raut first announced that his movie will be released on January 12, 2023. But later the release date was delayed. Manufacturers are now looking to take longer.
After the teaser for this movie was released, criticisms started about the excessive use of visual effects and the production technique. Furthermore, the Sarva Brahmin Mahasabha complained that Om Raut’s “Adipurush” was essentially an “Islamization” of the Ramayana. They also alleged that Hindu gods and goddesses were presented as “distortions and distortions”.
After that, Saif was criticized on social media for his comments about the character of “Raavan”. In an interview he said, “The main plot of the Ramayana was seen from a different angle. Here the human side of Ravana will be highlighted. The justice of the Sitaharan incident will also be shown through this film.
Many people started protesting his statement via social media. Allegations of hurting religious feelings have also been raised. Saif’s beard as Ravana has been disputed.
In the film’s teaser, Saif can be seen with a beard, short hair, and kajal-encrusted eyes. There are now plans to digitally edit the beard due to objections raised about the look.
After watching the teaser, many criticized “Adipurush” via social media. Ravana’s vehicle was also criticized.
