VHP Gujarat spokesperson Hitendra Singh Rajput said following Wednesday’s incident, “We will not allow the screening of the film ‘Pathan’ in Gujarat.” All theater owners have been notified of this incident.

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra first formally objected to the song ‘Besharam Rong’. Objecting to the title of the song, the lyrics, the green and ocher color of the dress, he said, “If these things in this song are not corrected, the government will consider whether the film will be released in Madhya Pradesh.”

The movie “Pathan” was directed by Siddharth Anand. It is produced by Aditya Chopra. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, Gautam, Ekta Kaur. Apart from that, Salman Khan will be seen in a cameo role. The film is set to be released on January 25.
