Shahrukh’s ‘Jaawan’ arrives after ‘Pathan’ storm

“Send” storms the box office. This film starring Shah Rukh Khan was released on January 25. The King of Bollywood has made a return to the big screen after four years with Pathan. The film is doing well at the box office. He has two more films pending release this year. Along with ‘Pathan’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Danki’ have already been announced.

‘Jaawan’ is directed by acclaimed Southern director Atlee. Shah Rukh Khan has already completed filming the film in phases. According to multiple reports, Shah Rukh will start filming for the upcoming ‘Jaawan’ program on February 1. There are several action scenes in the film. He will finish shooting them. Actress Sania Malhotra will also join the shoot.

Apart from Shahrukh, the film also features Tamil industry stars like Vijay Sethupathi, Nayantara, Priyamani.

It is reported that actors Vijay and Deepika Padukone can be seen in cameos in the film. “Jawaan” is set to hit the big screen on June 2, 2023. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

From the first look at the film, Jaawan is going to be an action-packed movie. The film poster shows half of Shah Rukh’s face covered in bandages. His hands are also bandaged. Shah Rukh wears olive-colored pants with a red shirt. The actor’s gaze is fascinating.

In Shahrukh’s words, “I can’t say much about this movie, because there’s still a long way to go. But I will say that I really appreciate him as an actor. I have never done this kind of photo before. What about Atlee, everyone has seen his work. I am very excited.

It was in the news last year that ‘Jaawan’ was a huge hit before filming wrapped.

It is reported that the digital streaming rights for the film are held by Netflix. OTT giant bought the rights to ‘Jawan’ in a big deal.

Netflix has bought the OTT rights from Jaawan for Rs 120 crore, Bollywood Life has reported. However, there is no comment from the production company. In this film by director Atlee, Shah Rukh’s heroine is the southern beauty Nayantara.
