Tata Motors only informed dealers about the launch of Tiago NRG CNG. The official launch has not yet taken place. Tata Motors said Tiago NRG is loved by customers because of its style and design. The facelift and BS6 upgrade in 2021 made it premium and more attractive. It has set benchmarks in its segment with class-leading features, handling, safety and comfort. The sales margin of Tiago CNG car has increased significantly in the past 3 years. Its volume tripled and its share of total sales doubled to 11%. Tata Motors Tiago NRG iCNG is being launched as the first Toughroader CNG in India to increase the company’s presence and volume in the growing CNG segment, the company said.

The current Tiago NRG XT is priced at Rs 6.42 lakh and the XZ is priced at Rs 6.83 lakh. The CNG variant of the regular Tiago costs Rs 91,000 more than its petrol counterpart. We can expect the Tiago NRG CNG to be launched at the same price. Now, if so, the Tiago NRG XT CNG might be priced at Rs 7.33 lakh ex-showroom and the NRG XZ CNG might be priced at Rs 7.74 lakh.

Tata Tiago NRG CNG is now available for billing at dealerships. The Tiago NRG will be powered by a 1.2-liter CNG petrol engine, which will produce 72 hp and 95 Nm of torque when running on CNG. Its mileage will be 26.4 km/kg. The company may make an official price announcement in the first week of November. It will be launched in Grey, White, Red and Foliage Green colors.
